Most firms will show you a contents page. This is the whole deliverable: seven findings written out in full, each with the terminal evidence, the steps to reproduce it, the business impact and the fix — plus the remediation plan and the retest letter.

Why people ask for it
Usually to check we are worth talking to
The report is the product. If you are comparing providers, the quickest way to tell them apart is to read what each one actually hands over — whether findings come with evidence, whether the fixes are specific enough for an engineer to act on, and whether anything is written for the people who have to sign it off.
It is a composite sample: assembled from several anonymised engagements of different types, with synthetic illustrative data throughout. It describes no single real client, and no real host, person or credential appears in it.
- Comparing proposalsRead the deliverable before you buy it, not after.
- Briefing your teamShow engineers the level of detail a finding should carry.
- Preparing for an auditSee the evidence an assessor is likely to accept.
- Writing a scopeUse the scope and methodology sections as a starting template.
