PXLQuill / Guide 06
Autosave and recovery
Recognise saved, pending and retry states.
01 / Watch the acknowledgement
Quill saves supported draft edits automatically. The saved acknowledgement means the edit was accepted. Generation uses saved content, so allow an in-progress save to finish before exporting.
02 / If connectivity fails
Keep the editing page open. A failed save can retain the mounted draft and offer Retry save. Restore connectivity, use Retry save and wait for confirmation. Do not refresh or close the tab while it contains an unsaved change.
03 / When sign-in is required
Complete the normal PXLAccess sign-in when your session can no longer be renewed. Treat a sign-in prompt and a failed save as separate states: confirm that your content was saved after reconnecting.
04 / Resolve concurrent changes carefully
If another session has edited the same record, follow the conflict prompt rather than repeatedly overwriting it. Work in one editing tab for a given narrative when possible. Quill is not a character-by-character collaborative document editor.
